Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel opened up in February 2011 and it was built on top of one of those hills in Nyungwe. It has a total of 12 well built and self contained cottages, it is has some of the most beautiful views in the region around Nyungwe Forest because it is on top of a hill.

The hotel rooms are well maintained and very spacious with private balconies which offer picturesque views. They have comfortable beds in queen and king sizes and all this just so you can find the hotel which ensures your comfort while there. Traditionally built using the local materials, rooms are well furnished. The lodge has a round house which houses the restuarant and bar, overlooking the beautiful gardens between the rooms. Located so close the park headquarters and only 5 minutes away from the main road using a rough road. Once at the lodge, you will be amazed by the beautiful view that includes the tea plantations, Lake Kivu and the forest.
The cottages are built in 2 different locations and on each side six cottages arranged in a row 4 of these are twin cottages while the other 8 have queen size beds.
How to get to Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel
From Kigali you will need between 4 hours driving along a fairly good tarmac road. Clients can also opt to fly to Nyungwe Hotel by using a Helicopter or plane to Kamembe. The Helicopter would land at Nyungwe house Helipad which is just 10 minutes drive. Or Kamembe airport which is just 30 minutes to the hotel.

SINGLE rooms cost $ 150 per night
DOUBLE rooms go for $ 220 per night and this based on bed and breakfast.
Meals at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.
They serve very rich meals. The Chef serves an English breakfast available throughout the morning hours . The chef serves international meals with ala cate menu. Beverages and alcoholic drinks plus wines are served at the bard. Drinks are separately charged therefore not part of the full board meal plan. You can get a local beer at $3 and then $5 for a glass of wine. Meal prices range between $ 20 and $50.
Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel also offers to any guest room service but the order has to be made earlier because there are no phones in the rooms to call and place the order.
The child policy;
Children of any age are welcome to stay at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel. Young adults and children below 15 years are not allowed to trek chimpanzees. Therefore, this hotel is more appropriate for those 15 years and above.
Nyungwe top view hill hotel is the best moderate hotel where you can stay during your visit to Nyungwe forest park and enjoy whatever Nyungwe has to offer for example the colobus monkeys, the chimpanzee trek, you can go bird watching since there are hundreds of them and for the very enthusiastic travelers, you can also go for the forest canopy walk. Safaris to Nyungwe national park can be organized at the lodge or you can decide to hire a tour operator.
